Se mai nume\u0219te\u00a0<em>cimbri\u0219or, cimbri\u0219or grecesc, cimbru adev\u0103rat, cimbru bun, l\u0103m\u00e2i\u021b\u0103<\/em>. Cre\u0219te spontan \u00een flora Spaniei, Fran\u021bei. Cultivat \u00een Antichitate ca plant\u0103 medicinal\u0103, mai t\u00e2rziu \u0219i ca plant\u0103 condimentar\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Ceaiul de cimbru este ob\u021binut din p\u0103r\u021bile aeriene ale plantei <em>Thymus vulgaris<\/em>\u00a0(cimbru),fam.\u00a0<em>Lamiaceae<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Uleiul esen\u0163ial de cimbru era un antiinfec\u021bios larg folosit \u00eenainte de apari\u021bia antibioticelor modern, are propriet\u0103\u021bi\u00a0antivirale, antireumatice, antiseptice, antiparazitare \u0219i antifungice.
